Have you been taking care of yourself lately?

We’ve made it through the first quarter of the year, and a lot has happened. Amidst all the chaos and endless ‘to-dos', you may not have had the time to check in with yourself and reflect on how you’ve been feeling lately. Maybe you’ve had a rough week, maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed at work, or maybe you’re feeling exhausted from back-to-back social events.

It’s important to remember to focus on ourselves actively, so we don’t feel emotionally, socially, or physically drained on a regular basis. This is where the idea of self-care comes in.

Sometimes when we think of self-care, we think about treating ourselves, be it a spa day, or big purchases. However, self-care actually refers to any activity that you do for yourself to improve your overall well-being.

Here are some underrated self-care ideas that are easy to incorporate into your daily routine:

🧹 Clean your living space: Do your laundry, declutter your closet, or tidy your work desk.

📓 Keep a gratitude journal: Jot down a few things you are thankful for every day.

📱Declutter your digital storage: Sort through files and pictures on your devices and delete those you don’t need anymore.

🌱 Spend time in nature: Step outside, feel the sunshine, smell the flowers, and take in the scenery.

👥 Reach out to others: Talk to your friends and family or join one of our Calm Circles to connect and share your feelings with our community!
