Be a volunteer

We regularly open up opportunities to volunteer. Right now, you can apply to volunteer as a writer or illustrator, sharing your lived experience or talent in art or writing and research to spread awareness about mental health. We will be accepting applications until 30 November 2026.

We’re looking for:

  • A commitment period of minimum 3 months with at least 1 contribution per month (flexible start)

  • People with a passion for mental health and align with our vision to destigmatise mental health in Asia

  • Hobbyists are welcome

  • A sample of your work (if you don’t have one yet, write or illustrate something around mental health)

We’ve also trained 400+ peer support facilitators!

With the support of the National Youth Fund, we trained over 400 volunteers across Singapore with the knowledge and skills to hold space for others, facilitate meaningful discussions, and support peers in an empathetic way at Calm Circles.

Calm Circles has created safe, inclusive spaces for open dialogue, helping to normalise conversations around mental health and reduce the stigma often associated with seeking support. For many participants, it has been a first step toward acknowledging their mental health needs, breaking through isolation, and learning that they are not alone.

We are not currently recruiting for peer support volunteers, but subscribe to our newsletter to find out when we open new volunteering opportunities.
