Seeking support from peers

Reaching out can mean connecting with someone we trust — It can be a friend, a loved one, or even a peer support group. We acknowledge that it can be hard to talk about our feelings. However, when we talk about our thoughts and feelings with someone else, it can help validate our experiences, regulate the intensity of our feelings and form authentic connections with people who are supporting us.

However, before becoming a facilitator, he also experienced Calm Circles for himself. This is what he had to say about his first experience. Read more about his experience here.
