To break the stigma of mental health in Asia, so that people can get the help they need
To normalise the mental health conversation in Asia
Calm Collective was founded in April 2020 as a community response to Singapore's COVID-19 lockdown.
Calm Collective has since evolved into a mission driven organisation supported by a passionate team individuals across Asia (and beyond!). We believe that normalising the conversation within ourselves, and at the societal level, is crucial in breaking the mental health stigma. In doing so, we hope to give people the courage to get the help they need before it's too late.
Calm Collective was selected as the Youth Co:Lab champions for the Youth Action Challenge Season 2 supported by the National Youth Council (Singapore), CVC Capital, Citi Foundation, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

“Calm Circles is a great space for people who need the human touch to come and connect, especially during this time when we need to be kind to ourselves and each other.”
“I was also very encouraged and pleasantly surprised at what an authentic and respectful conversation about feelings we can have with strangers in an Asian context.”
“Facilitators were very welcoming and provided a safe space for everyone to speak. Size of breakout room were just nice and it was lovely to hear from everyone's sharing!”
